Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman Review
I begin college this summer. I have been looking to buy a mobile phone that is neither too flashy nor too low end. I don’t want it to stand out, but I also don’t want to feel ashamed about it. But, more importantly, I want to be able to use it as a music player. I can’t even think about not having music on me at all times.
That’s when I chanced upon the Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman. It is suitably impressive with its slider and the shiny matte chassis and simply does not look low end. On the other hand, it is a music phone which is a priority for me. But, most importantly, the Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman also fits well within my budget.
So, I got interested in Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman and decided to find out more details about it. I must say I was impressed with what I saw. Although it is being touted as an entry level music phone, it does have many interesting features like camera and wireless headsets. Although the built in camera phone is only 2 MP, it is good enough to take occasional pictures. And theThe offical press release also has an application that tweaks pictures after they have been taken, so the final output is rather impressive. At least you won’t be caught without a camera phone.
One other thing I really liked about the Sony Ericsson is that it has 3D gaming with motion control support. That is bound to stand out in a crowd. And, the TFT display with 262k colors adds a new vibrancy to the games. The other fact that interested me was that the phone batteries offer 8 hours of talk time, 20 days of standby time, or 12.5 hours of continuous music playback. This is just perfect for someone who has to live in a dorm.
